In Memory: Richard L. Dean is the Owner- Funeral Director of Dean's Funeral Home. He established the Funeral Home in 1993. He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Kent State University. Richard has been a resident of Sebring area all his life and enjoys giving back to his community. Richard earned his angel wings in Feb of 2019. He will be remembered for his compassion and generosity towards others. We will see you on the other side.
In Memory: Irene Dean the Office Manager of Dean's Funeral Home. Irene handles day to day operations in the office. She is a life time resident of the Sebring Area and a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School. Irene earned her angel wings in August of 2019. She is remembered for her love of her family and her strong faith and love of God.
Scott A. Dean is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a Licensed Funeral Director. He has a bachelor degree from University of Phoenix in Criminal Justice. He is a Volunteer Paramedic/ Firefighter for Damascus. He is a retired Alliance City Police Officer and Retired Beloit Fire Chief. Scott has lived in the area all his life and looks forward to serving families in their times of need. He has dedicated his whole life to public service. Scott is also a member of Damascus Friends Church and Co-Director of the Grief Share program. He enjoys time with his wife and 2 children as well as hunting and spending time outdoors.
Funeral Director Apprentice/ Director of Marketing/ Social Media
Tonya is currently serving her Apprenticeship to be a licensed Funeral Director. Tonya is a Graduate of Southeast High School In Ravenna, Ohio. She obtained her Associate's Degree from Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio in Respiratory Care. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Apollo College in Respiratory Care with an emphasis in management. Lastly, she obtained her Master's Degree in Adult Education from the University of Phoenix. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Respiratory Therapist. She is Co-Director of Grief Share Ministry at Damascus Friends Church. She enjoys helping others and giving back to the community. Her and Scott have 2 adult children attending the University of Mount Union. God has blessed me and I love to return these blessings onto others:)
Zachary is an active member of the support staff. He can be seen during services in the parking lot, on the front door, and on removals. Zachary is a student at The University of Mount Union studying Education. He is also an assistant Soccer Coach at West Branch High School for the Girls Varsity Soccer program and the Head Coach for the Girl's JV Soccer program and a member of Damascus Friends Church. He also is a licensed soccer referee. He will Graduate in 2021 with his Degree in Middle School Education.
Kylie is a valued member of the staff. She can be found in the building doing multiple functions during times of need. She attends the University of Mount Union on multiple scholarships for music and theater. She is also minoring in Pre-Law. She is 2019 Carnation Queen First Attendant representing Dean's Funeral Home. She is a member of Damascus Friends Church. She is also licensed to perform weddings and funerals.
Thomas is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. There he earned his degree in Embalming and Funeral Directing. He has always been involved in helping the public. He is currently a Paramedic and Firefighter.
Terrie is a graduate of Ravenna High School. She attended Purdue University. She retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital after 30 years of Service. She obtained a vast amount of experience in office management, with life experiences. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her fur babies.
In Memory of: Woodrow "Butch" Dean is retired from American Steel Foundation. Butch can be found doing many jobs at the funeral home. He can be observed doing removals and in the parking lot. He is also the Right Hand Man of Richard Dean. Uncle Butch earned his angel wings in 2017.
James Hubbs retired from Sebring Fire Department. He can be seen doing maintenance around our facility, working services, and or helping with transports. He is married with adult children. He also has two granddaughters. He lives locally in our community. He enjoys camping and spending time with his family.
Ralph Hayes is a Graduate of Ravenna High School. He served in the Marine Corps from 1970-1973. He is retired from the Eaton Corporation and is married to his wife Julia with adult Children and Grandchildren. Ralph can be found helping with services, helping with removals, and or driving the hearse. We are proud to have him as part of our staff.
Remi Deano Dean
Remi can be seen around the funeral home to offer grief support to those in need. He is a friendly warm relief to those who are grieving.
