Roger enjoyed playing bingo at the local bingo halls, roofing and siding, talking to family and friends on the phone, hiding snacks in his room and being a comedian at times. As a youngin, he enjoyed bowling with the guys and hunting and had one hell of a throw and aim.
Roger is survived by his daughter Gena (Seth) Van Orsdale and granddaughter Natalie whom he loved very much and couldn't express it enough. He is also survived by brothers Tim (Alliance), Lynn (Minerva), Larry (Streetsboro), Jeff and Todd Edwards (Homeworth). A sister, Peg Davis of Fairfax, VA. and a large amount of nieces and nephews to go along with that.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Brothers: Jerry, Duane (Buck) and Kim. Sisters: Jan, Tracy and Pam. Sister-in-laws Wilda and Judy.
Roger had no life insurance at the time of his passing and the family is asking simply for monetary donations to help pay for the cost of his services. Donations can be made directly to Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring, Oh in his name or through the Go Fund Me account that has been set up via Facebook.
The family is putting together a celebration of life dinner at the family farm on September 27, 2020 at 2:00pm to celebrate the home going of an awesome guy. He loved having people over to the house and he didn't want any of us to make a big fuss about his departure. We are hoping everyone can come out and enjoy each others company and let's talk about all the crazy things Roger has done in his 67 years of life. We will have all his favorite dishes and all his favorite "big girls" will be there. Food/drink donations are also greatly appreciated and accepted. Friends and family may sign the online condolence book at www.deansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
