Roger Akers

Roger M. Akers passed away at home on Thursday October 21, 2021 after battling cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents; Louise (Collins) Akers, Harold Akers Sr., wife; Barbara (Baum) Akers, sons; Roger "Michael" Akers Jr., Kenneth Akers and Donald Akers. He is survived by a daughter; Shawna (Bill) Stinsman, grandchildren; Kaiden ,Kaleb,and  Kayliana Stinsman,  and step-daughter; Barbara (Baum) Dickson. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Roger enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He was a very strong and compassionate man with great love for his family as a brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by many and will truly be missed by all. Private services have taken place.
