Robert H. Stowe, age 68, left the struggle and pain of this world behind him as he went to his heavenly home on Saturday March 11, 2023. When the light turned green, he squealed his tires and passed peacefully through Heaven’s gates after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born July 9,1954, to the late Wilbur and Joretta (Porter) Stowe. He is survived by his wife; Carolyn (Conaway) Stowe. They were married March 18, 1991, daughters; Courtney (Tyler Chismar) Stowe, Katie Stowe, and fur-baby daughter and companion; Jade. Grand fur-babies; Hank, Nelson, Wynonna, Loretta, Jennings, Cash, Torque, Turbo, a brother; Danny (Diana) Stowe, brother-in-law, Tom Warrick, and David (Diane) Conaway, nephews; Seth Warrick, Tommy (Judy) Warrick, Joey (May) Warrick, Dan (Jessica) Stowe, Daniel Stowe, and Tommy Conaway, and nieces; Jessica Warrick , Deanna Stowe, and Danielle (Jim) Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Diane Warrick, and a brother; Ronny Stowe, Nephew Bo Stowe. Bob was a graduate of Sebring High School. He retired from DP Operating Company after over 30 years. He was known by all and was often fondly referred to as the Mayor of Smith Township. Bob normally knew all the latest news and happenings of everything around him as he talked to everyone. Bob was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time at his deer camp in West Virginia. He also enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. He was adventurous and enjoyed riding ATV’s, drag racing, boating, soap box derby, and sky diving. The family would like to thank The Alliance Hospice team and Dr. Lehrer for their care, compassion, and for making Bob comfortable in his last days. They would also like to thank Dean’s Funeral Home for their freaky fast service and providing love and support for the family in this difficult time and Almost Home Event Center for hosting the Community event in January to help the family with medical expenses.  A Celebration of Life will be held March 26th from 2-5pm at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S 12th Street Sebring with Pastor Quint Bryan officiating. The family is encouraging us to honor Bob and make it a sendoff he would enjoy, bikes, trucks, tractors, classic cars, are all encouraged. Friends and family may share their online condolences at www.deansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean’s Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
