Grant William Kelley, 45, of Boardman, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Youngstown .He was born in Alliance, August 4, 1977 to Harold Jr and Patricia (Sanders) Kelley.
Grant was a 1996 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School. He also graduated from ITT Tech in 1998 with a Degree in Electronics. He took great pride in his work, working for Bon Secours Mercy Health, creating, building and managing virtual servers as a Virtualization Lead Manager. He has many certificates with the most being a VMWare Certificate Professional.
He loved building computers, 3d Printing, and swimming with his son. He was a model train enthusiast and a avid Ham Radio operator but his two most favorite things were going to concerts and bowling. His favorite movie is The Big Lebowski and his favorite bands were RUSH, Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains, But most of all he loved his friends and family. His favorite Captain Jean-Luc Picard quote was "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life."
Grant is survived by his Wife Jennifer (Lipply) Kelley of 23 years, Son Alexander William Kelley, Fur Baby Fern, Parents Harold Jr and Patricia (Sanders) Kelley of Sebring, Siblings Robert and Elizabeth (Barker) Kelley of Lancaster Oh, Brenda Kelley of Sebring, in Laws Edward and Pamela (McDaniel) Lipply of Sebring and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, especially Katie. You can pay your respects and share memories Sunday June 11, 2023 from 2-3 PM with a Celebration of Life lunch at 3PM at the American Legion Banquet Room, 395 California Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. Donations can be made to Bon Secours Mercy Hospital or the Hope Center of Cancer Care in Boardman. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
