George Deane

Salem:

George Deane, age 93, of Salineville passed away February 9, 2020 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Ohio. He was born December 28, 1926 to the late William and Emily (Mara) Deane.

George was preceded in death by his first and second wives; Lucille and Delthea. George was also preceded in death by two sisters; Annie Evans and Thomasina Hearte of New York.  He is survived by two sisters; Maise Swanton of Ireland, and Emily Dunaggon of New York.  A brother; John (Chris) Deane of Ireland. George enjoyed farming and cattle. He retired in 1981 after many years of working in the steel industry. He also was very proud of his family who are spread out all overall the world in seven different countries.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 12, 2020 at 11am at The New Lebanon United Presbyterian Church in Hanoverton, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Grubbs officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior from 10am-11am.
