Douglas Vandal

Douglas S. Vandal, age 46 of Alliance passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at Alliance Hospital Emergency room, from lifelong  health issues, nothing Covid related.  He was born December  13, 1973 to Richard and Tina (Burns) Vandal. He was a lifelong resident of Alliance. He is survived by  his Parents; a Son; Douglas S. Vandal Jr., Brother ; Steve (Mandy) Vandal, Grandmother; Kathryn Vandal , Nephews; Logan and Payton Vandal, Niece; Audrey Vandal, Aunts; Bobbi Jo and Linda Burns, Uncle; Mark Burns, Several Cousins and extended family. he was preceded in death by Grandfathers; Dick Vandal and Robert Burns, Grandmother; Lill Vandal, Uncles ; Paul Burns and Hank Vandal also Aunts; Denise Carver and Gay Ann Burns. He was a 1992 Graduate of Alliance High School and a member of the marching band. Doug was an avid fan of Ohio State Football, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Cleveland Indians, and NASCAR racing. Some of his other interests included spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, grilling, hunting and he was an expert in Military History. He also enjoyed video, phone, and computer games.  Visitation will take place at Dean's Funeral Home 256 W Ohio Ave Sebring , Saturday , August 8th, 2020 from 10am-12pm. Funeral Service will immediately follow. Covid-19 restrictions and recommendations will be followed:  Social distancing, limiting of attendees, as well as facemasks. Burial will take place at Alliance City Cemetery for immediate family only.  Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
