Dennis Simmons

Dennis (Shakey) L. Simmons passed peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday January 14, 2021. He was born October 20, 1951 to the late John Simmons and Iona (Stanley) Simmons. He is survived by his wife Darlene Simmons. They were married March 14, 1986. Brother; Bob (Kathy) Simmons, Jeff (Patty) Simmons both of California. Step-children; Jeff (Margie) Wilt, Jodi (Mike) Donaldson, four step grand-children; one great step grandchild, children; Shane (Lorrie) Simmons, Karri Nestor, Joclyn (Chris) Brunetti, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Dennis was a machinist at A.J. Oster in Alliance. He enjoyed being an Ohio State fan and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed traveling to Daytona Beach on vacations with Mike and Jodi. Daytona Beach was his happy place. Dennis was a talker and had truly never met a stranger. Conversations could be made with anyone in downtown Sebring, while enjoying a few beers. A private family graveside committal service and entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit with Pastor Freddie Rodriguez officiating.
