Cynthia (Cindy) Kee

July 6, 1962 — February 29, 2020

Salem- Cynthia “Cindy” L. (Williams) Kee, 57, died Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was surrounded by her family. Cindy was born July 6, 1962, to Donivan and Charlene (Harding) Williams. After her mother’s death when she was five, Cindy was raised by her father and step-mother, Judy (Ulman) Williams, currently of North Carolina. Cindy lived most of her life in the Alliance area, graduating from Alliance High School in 1980. Cindy enjoyed taking care of others and spent her working years taking care of intellectually disabled individuals, and later, peoples’ eyesight at Dr. Stein’s Optical in Alliance. Cindy leaves behind her devoted husband of 38 years, Dwight D. Kee, whom she married June 26, 1982. They have two sons, Jeremiah “Jed” (Natalie) Kee of Kensington, and Joe Kee, of the home, who love and miss their mom immensely. Cindy’s biggest sources of joy for the past twelve years have been her grandchildren, Mariah, Arlo, Anse, and Makayla. She enjoyed taking care of them, being involved in their activities, and watching them learn and grow. Also mourning Cindy’s death are her siblings, Rev. Donivan (Michelle) Williams of Perrysburg, OH, Debby Huber of  Bluffton, OH, and Tim (Rebecca Biasell) Williams of Washington, beloved parents-in-law, Lowell and Betty Lou Kee of Minerva, and sister-in-law Penny (Barry Congrove) Kee of Cincinnati. Cindy also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In addition to her mother, Cindy was preceded in death by her dearest friend/aunt, Connie (Ulman) Hines. Per Cindy’s wishes, there will be no services. The family will gather at a later date to mourn and celebrate the life of their beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend.
