Barbara Akers

Barbara A. Akers (Markey), Age 70, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2019.
She was born February 20, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert J. and Hazel
M. (Evans) Markey.
She was a great homemaker and the devoted wife of Roger M. Akers for 20 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors, and loved to travel.
She is survived by four siblings, Hazel (Greg) Tippings, Karen (Roger) Horning, Robert
(Marilyn) Markey and Robert Noonan. and four children Michael E. Graham, Troy (Lori)
Baum and Barbara (Terry) Dickson and Shawna (Bill) Stinsman.  As well as, many grand
and great grandchildren,
She was proceeded in death by her son Charles E. Graham.
