Zachary D Wensel

Zachary Donald Wensel, 20, of Minerva, OH died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Born August 9, 2004, in Dover, OH. Zachary was the son of Donald H. Wensel and Dawna F. (Matthews) Wensel. He was a graduate from Minerva High School, class of 2023. Zachary was previously employed as heavy equipment operator where he took great pride in his work. He spent most of his free time modifying his truck and was very enthusiastic about the custom work that he would do. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting targets off of the deck. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Riley; paternal grandmother, Kathleen J. Wensel and maternal grandmother, Carolyn J. Matthews. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald H. Wensel and maternal grandfather, Allan "Dale" Matthews. A time of visitation will take place Wednesday April 16th from 4-7 pm. at Almost Home, 230 S 12th Street Sebring. Funeral will take place Thursday at 12 noon with Pastor Doug Kilchenman officiating. Graveside service Thursday 130pm at Moultrie Cemetery in Minerva. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home.
