Winnifred Waltenbaugh-Maddix

ALLIANCE; Winnifred (Fritzie) Waltenbaugh- Maddix age 90 passed away April 13,2016 at Canterbury Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born in Alliance September 8, 1916 to John Freemont Haas and Ora V>(Battershell) Haas. She had been employed for several years at Robertson Memorial Hospital as a seamstress. She spent 30 years in Flordia before returning to Alliance in March 2011. Winnifred is survived by her sons; Donald J. (Diane) Waltenbaugh of Alliance, and Lynn Alan (Nancy) Waltenbaugh of Ravenna. Sister: Martha Sandrus. Granddaughters; Michele Martin of Va., Tracy (Mark) Higgins of Sebring, and Julie (Doug) Bohrer of Columbus. Eight Great Grandchildren, and Two Great- Great- Grandchildren ,and at the end many great friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Earl Waltenbaugh and her second husband Charles William Maddix, two sisters; Elanor Briggs and Dorothy Domino.
