William “Billy” James Sattler, age 40, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, May 25th at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Billy was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 13th, 1985, but spent the last 9 months of his life here locally to be closer to family. Billy was a very simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life that we often take for granted. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to do anything outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed cooking with a passion…especially on the grill.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Onalee Sattler, and his younger brother, Randy, He is survived by his younger siblings, Chris, Mindy, and David Sattler, his sister-in-law Brittany, his stepfather, David Baumgarten, his wife, Amanda, daughter Celeste, and granddaughter Elliannah, as well as countless other loved ones, including his best friend, his dog Houdini, his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Maddison, and Isabella, and the love of his life, Lauren Hafner.

As part of his last wishes, there will be no formal service, however he will be laid to rest on Monday June 1st, at the Mount Union Cemetery, in Alliance. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date
