William Mikes

Alliance: William Earl Mikes, age 60 passed away on February 28, 2018 following a long illness. He was born January 6, 1958 in Alliance, Ohio to Raymond and Myrtle (Light) Mikes. William retired from the United States Post Office where he was a mail carrier. He was a avid sports fan including Mount Union Purple Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He adored his loving family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a 1976 graduate of Alliance High School where he played many sports. He is survived by his mother: Myrtle Light Mikes of Alliance. Sons: William S Mikes of Alliance and Christopher Mikes of Sebring. Sisters: Connie (Raymond) Leek of Alliance and Brenda Sotcan of Alliance. Brothers: Robert, Raymond, Larry, Ronald, Donald, and Ricky. Grand Children: Aerial Mikes, Kaelyn Mikes, and Karter Mikes. Father and Mother in Laws: Lloyd and Nancy Ruble. and Several Nieces and Nephews. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his Loving wife, Roxanne (Ruble) Mikes. Brother, Jerry, and Grandparents: William and Minnie Light and Verna and Irene Mikes. A celebration of William's life will be held at a later date.
