Thomas G Marshall, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 3, 2024, leaving behind an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He was born on August 12, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Mary (Hudak) Marshall.
Thomas led a fulfilling career as a millwright, working for notable companies such as GE, American Steel Corporation, RG Steel, and Union Metals. His dedication and expertise in the field were highly regarded by colleagues and friends alike. He was a Member of Union 2211 and 1375 and others. He was also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp from 1969-1971.
Beyond his professional achievements, Thomas had a zest for life that embraced his hobbies and interests. He delighted in vacations with his family, which allowed him to create cherished memories that will endure for generations to come. Thomas also had a passion for cars and enjoyed indulging in all things automotive.
Thomas's love extended far beyond his hobbies – it radiated throughout his role as a husband to Cheryl Williamson for countless joyous years. Their bond epitomized devotion and companionship that weathered life's challenges with unwavering strength. Together they built a beautiful family rooted in love.
As a father to Mandy, Mindy, Stacy, and Kim and a cherished son Jeremy; Thomas wore the title of "Father" with pride. He provided guidance and support while also nurturing their dreams with untiring encouragement.
To Bob, his beloved brother; they had many memories growing up.
As a grandfather to Ashley, Kenzie, Arden; Thomas celebrated the innocence of childhood through playfulness and warmth. Their adoring hearts found solace in his presence as he imparted wisdom through unconditional love.
The arrival of Grayson brought an added joy and light to Thomas's life as he became a great-grandfather. His eyes twinkled with delight as he watched Grayson explore the world and create his own path.
He was preceded in death by a sister Becky Bonish.
Thomas's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support have left an everlasting impact on his family and friends. He always put others before himself.
Visitation will be held on January 9, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Dean's Funeral Home located at 256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. These services will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together, share stories, and find solace in their collective memories.
In honor of Thomas's lifelong dedication to his family and friends, let us celebrate his life with gratitude for the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind.
