Thomas David Conaway

Thomas David Conaway, known affectionately as David, was born on January 26, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, David dedicated his life to his family and was cherished by all who knew him. He passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, surrounded by his loving family.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Diane, whom he married on February 14, 1994. He leaves behind his son, Thomas D. Conaway, and his cherished grandson, Thomas E. Conaway. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Stowe, and several sisters in law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his legacy of love and compassion.

A graduate of Southeast High School, David possessed a wealth of knowledge and life experiences that enriched the lives of those around him. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the great outdoors. He often spent his time in the woods, where he indulged his passions for hunting, fishing, and gardening. His love for nature was only outmatched by his affection for his family, which was evident in everything he did.

He also loved going to West Virginia and spending time with family and friends. David's warm and friendly disposition meant that he never met a stranger; rather, he made a friend in everyone he encountered.

David will be honored at Dean's Funeral Home, located at 256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. The visitation will take place on September 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on September 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

As we reflect on the memories we shared with David, we remember a man whose dedication to family and friends was unwavering. Many loved ones, including his parents, will greet him in Heaven, and his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he left behind.
