SUZANNE ELIZABETH GREENE

Age 74, passed away peacefully in her Alliance home surrounded by her family on August 12th, 2026. Sue was born on April 9th, 1952, in Canton, Ohio to the late Ray and Donna Greene. She was a graduate of Perry High School in Stark County, Ohio. After graduation, she packed up and headed out west to Oakland, California, where she spent the next years working in a nursing home to put herself through college and competing in the roller derby. In 1979, she headed back to Ohio and began her lifelong career with the Social Security Administration. In her leisure time, Sue loved attending her nieces and nephews sporting events, spending time with her family and friends, reading books, collecting fur babies, and traveling to casinos with her best friend Beverly.

Sue is proceeded in death by both parents Ray and Donna Greene, her niece Stephanie Schrader, and 3 brothers-in-law; Richard Deitrick, Jay Metz, and Scott Mullet.

Sue is survived by her sisters, Jeanne Schrader (Tim), Linda Wootton (Ron), Betsy Mullet (Butch Long), and Karen Deitrick, along with nine nieces and nephews, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Thea family would like to give special thanks to Laura Albright and the staff at Albright Living for their wonderful care they gave Sue. Per her final wishes, Sue will be cremated at Deans funeral home in Sebring, Ohio and there will be no services. In honor of Sue’s life, we ask that you read a good book, donate to your local humane society, or adopt a loving fur baby!
