Staci Leigh Gaspar Thomas

Staci passed away on September 21, 2026, surrounded by her family after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 20, 1981, in Canton, Ohio.

Those who knew Staci also knew just how strong she could be; that fierce and stubborn spirit carried her throughout her fight

She was the ultimate soccer mom... loved being on the lake at Berlin Lake, taking her kids tubing, having campfires, and traveling.

She enjoyed going to the family house in Florida. An animal lover, Staci had a special place in her heart for pets. She loved spending time with her closest friends. She graduated from West Branch High School in 2000. She was the controller at Gaspar Inc. for many years. Above all else, Staci was a devoted mother to her three children, Aubrianna, Trey, and Mason Thomas of North Benton, Ohio. She was the beloved daughter of Gary and Judy Gaspar of North Benton, Ohio. Sister: Stephanie Gaspar. Nephews: Joey and Jack Ocel, Mechanicstown, Ohio. Brother: Tad Gaspar of Sebring, Ohio; nephews: Drew, Connor, Christian, Gage, and Sophie Gaspar. Brother: Chris Bates of Miami, Florida.

Staci was preceded in death by her sister Christine Gaspar, and her family finds comfort knowing that Chris and Staci are together in Heaven.

In place of flowers, make a donation in Staci's memory to the Stark County Dog Pound, Canton, OH

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express deep gratitude to our relatives and friends who offered support for Staci. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio.
