Robert Rupp

Robert “Bob” C. Rupp 77, went to be with the Lord, Friday December 4, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center. Bob was born August 15, 1943 in Maximo, Ohio to Lawrence and Lucille (Polus) Rupp. Robert was the 11th of 13 children. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Eugene, Leonard, Charles, Frank, Kenneth and Lawrence Jr. Sisters, Loretta (Wisse), Bernice (Fernandez), Lillian “Irene” (White) and Mary (Minor). He is survived by sisters Viola Warner and Rita Hornsby and Many, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.  He was a Marlington High School graduate (1964) then enlisted in the US Army. He is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict and served as a Helicopter mechanic. Bob had many interests and was an entrepreneur. He loved the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburg Steelers and was a dedicated Ohio State Fan.  Crafting, painting, electronics and much more were among his many interests.  Bob was very outgoing and enjoyed many activities with family and friends.

Bob resided at Oakhill Manor from 2009 until his passing. He was highly involved as a volunteer and on the resident council. He delivered the mail, set up for activities. Cremation will take place per his request.  A celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Friends and family may share their online condolences at www.deansfuneralhome.com .
