Richard "Moose" Tonnous

Richard J. "Moose" Tonnous, age 71, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born June 15, 1948 to Moses S. Tonnous and Glenna (Spurrier) Tonnous in Caimbridge, Ohio. He is survived by his Wife; Terri (Tucker) Tonnous, Two Sons; Richard Jr. and Brent B. Tonnous, Grandchildren; Trisha Rohrer, Richard Tonnous III, Brianna Tonnous, Mercedes Tonnous, Justin Tonnous, Kristen Tonnous, Austin Tonnous, Hannah Tonnous, Joseph Tonnous, Great Grand-Children; Tristen Ball, John Rohrer, Natalia Tonnous, Devon Rohrer, Tyson Tonnous, Kayden Ritchie, Thea Lardie, Ember Tewsbury, Siblings; Celelia Roby, Donna Gordon, Cynthia Macavley, Maureen Cowgill, Tom Tonnous, Frances Tonnous, Veronica McConkey, Gail Tonnous, Paul Tonnous, Carol Arp, and  Ruth Smith. He was preceded in death by 2 Daughters; Yvonne Tonnous Peters, Ursula Tonnous Hughey and One Sibling; "Sonnie" Tonnous Budai. "Moose" will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He was a big NASCAR , Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State fan. He also enjoyed farming and loved his dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family. Per his request cremation has taken place.
