On August 12, 2026 Rebecca Lane Wright passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She was the Matriarch of our family and she will be profoundly missed by all of us. During her life she had a natural ability to care for others. Her capacity for love was endless as she raised her children and grandchildren. She was a nurse assistant all her life helping the elderly and disabled with her gift, as well as caring for her husband until her last day on Earth. She was born in South Carolina and is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, and brother. She is survived by her youngest brother Scotty Parham, her husband David L. Wright, her son David Matthew Wright, and daughters Jennifer (John) Smith, and Tina Wright. As well as her 9 grandchildren, Michael Kelly, Johnathan Smith, Conner Smith, Brandon Bennett, Amber Bennett, Jeffrey Bennett, Amelia Hammond, Mia Peloso, and Ashton Peloso. She also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. She was a southern belle that enjoyed her gardens, cooking, jewelry, and was a collector of beautiful china and southern antiques. Throughout her life you would find her sitting at the dining room table laughing with her family and friends, taking in joy whenever possible. May she rest in peace with God and her ancestors. A Celebration of Life for all to attend will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at the New Hope Church of God at 20990 Oak St. Alliance, Ohio.
