Raymond (Spark) Eugene Sloat

Raymond Eugene Sloat "Spark," age 55, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1970, to Charles and Ruth (Dooney) Sloat. 

Raymond graduated from Alliance High School in 1988. He worked as a greenhouse manager at Flowerland for over 35 years. 

Raymond enjoyed bowling and fishing. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ashley Kress, son-in-law, Richard Kress, his grandchildren,  Preston Ziegler,  La'Niaha Ziegler, and Heavenleigh Kress, His siblings, Norma (Tom) Wilson, Linda (Willie) Davis, Sue Handy, Joe (Tammy) Sloat, Timothy Sloat, and Ruthie (Jack) Tunen. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ralph, Chucky, David, John, and William Sloat.  

A Celebration for Raymond will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
