Peggy's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply—children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Peggy Ann Wright passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Peggy's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply—children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her love for them was ever-present in her actions and words. 

Peggy was born on May 15, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio. She resided in Minerva, Ohio. She is survived by sisters Elaine (Shawn) Morrow and Debbie Davis; children David (Kristina) Wright and Margaret (Jay) Schafer; grandchildren Gwen (Devin Hamilton) Wright, Kristen Schafer, Jacob Wright, Jadyn Schafer, and Emily Wright; great-grandchildren Madelyn Hamilton, Mason Hamilton, Maddox Hamilton, Kenna Schafer, and Kyzer Schafer, along with many other loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, and a sister.

Peggy found happiness in simple pleasures, especially spending time with her beloved cat, Tiny Whiney. Tiny Whiney was more than just a pet; he was a dear companion who brought her comfort and joy. Peggy enjoyed playing bingo and listening to Elvis Presley, activities that filled her life with joy and warmth.

She will be remembered for the love she shared so freely, the moments she created with her family, and the special place she held in the lives of those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love will continue through the generations she cherished so dearly.

Her memory is a blessing, and her absence will be felt more than words can express. Rest peacefully, Peggy. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

In place of flowers, contributions in her name can be made to Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center. The family would like to express thanks for the wonderful care and support the staff provided to both Peggy and her family.

Per her wishes a private family goodbye has taken place and no formal public services will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
