IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peggy A
Lacher
February 22, 1958 – March 9, 2026
Peggy A Lacher, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Bel Air Alliance, Ohio. She was born on February 22, 1958, in Alliance,, and spent formative years in the community she cherished. A proud graduate of Sebring High School in 1976, Peggy embodied the spirit of dedication and hard work throughout her life.
Peggy worked for many years at Keener Rubber and later at Walmart, where she was known for her kind nature and unwavering commitment. Her colleagues remember her as a person who brought joy and warmth to the workplace, always ready with a smile and a supportive word.
Peggy’s interests were as vibrant as her personality. She loved playing bingo, a pastime that not only provided her with enjoyment but also allowed her to connect with friends and fellow players in laughter and camaraderie. An ardent animal lover, she had a special affection for cats and found solace in their company. Peggy was also a dedicated supporter of the Atlanta Braves, often following their games with enthusiasm and passion, celebrating their victories and enduring the moments of defeat.
Though Peggy's time on earth has come to an end, she is reunited with her dear husband, Charlie, who passed away in 2019. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Brown, and her beloved parents, Sheldon and Sharon. Their memories continue to light her path and will forever reside in the hearts of those she left behind.
Peggy leaves behind her cherished siblings: Sheldon (Kathy) Brown, Billie Jo Shreve, and Cheryl Hainsey. She was a proud aunt to many, embodying the love and support that only an aunt can provide. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews, who will carry forward the lessons of kindness and generosity she instilled in them.
Peggy also held dear associations with close friends Desmond, Thelma, and Dave, who served as her pillars of support, sharing countless joyous moments that will forever be etched in their hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held on March 13, 2026, at Sebring Friends Church, with Pastor Quint Bryan officiating, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and the joyful spirit she brought into their lives. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a continuation of heartfelt remembrances and fellowship.
In this time of sorrow, let us remember Peggy not just for her passing, but for the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the lives she touched throughout her journey. She showed us the beauty of a life well-lived and the importance of family, friendships, and the simple joys that bring warmth to our spirits. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
