Paul Charles Antram
Paul Charles Antram, 78, of Salem, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026. He was born November 8, 1947, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Thelma (Edwards) Antram.
Paul was the proud owner and operator of Antram Fire Equipment, a business to which he dedicated himself throughout his life. Even after many years, he continued to work and remained actively involved in the business until the time of his passing. Paul was also proud to have served in the Army NationalGuard for six years. His service was another meaningful part of his life, reflecting his commitment and dedication.
Paul lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He generously gave his time to others and was a longtime Boy Scout leader for Troop 55. He was also a member of the Leetonia Sportsman Club and the Salem Elks. He enjoyed boating, camping, and spending time outdoors, but his greatest joy came from being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lorie (Jason) Gfeller of Toledo; his sons, Mark (Marsha) Antram of Salem and David (Annilee) Antram of Salem; and his eight grandchildren, Michael Sims, Abbie Antram, Caitlyn Antram, Dakota Herron, Alyssa Herron, Jaylin Gfeller, Averie Gfeller, and Elliza Gfeller.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Beth) King Antram, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Elizabeth passed away in 2021, and Paul missed her dearly throughout the years that followed. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Thelma Antram, and his brother, Larry Antram.
Paul will be remembered for his hard work, generous spirit, love of the outdoors, and, most of all, the love he had for his family. His 51 years with Elizabeth were an important part of his life, and the love they shared remained with him always. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by his children, grandchildren, friends, and all who knew him.
Following cremation, friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration of Paul’s life at the First Church of God, 505 N. Lincoln Ave, Alliance Ohio,44601, on November 14,2026 from 2-4p.m.
