North Benton—Patricia E. Miner, died unexpectedly December 10, 2020. She was born September 14, l943, in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of James E. Shook and Helen (Flickinger) Shook. Patricia graduated with the first class at the West Branch School in 1961. After she married her sweetheart, Russell Miner on October 15, l963, they settled in North Benton. They celebrated 57 years of marriage this past October. Patricia was a long time member in many organizations. She was a loyal member of the W.B. Band Boosters and Twin State Auto Racing Club where she held offices for many years. She also had a love for bingo and puzzles which she enjoyed doing with her grandkids. During the summer, she loved vacationing at Geneva On The Lake at the cabin, and camping at the Canfield Fair. She also took great pride in finding just the right Christmas Ornaments Series for every person in her family to be given out around Thanksgiving time. Surviving in addition to her husband, Russell, is her daughter, Kimberly (Duane) Wilson of Alliance; sons David (Anita) of Colonial Beach, Virginia and Douglas (Susan) of Beloit; and 18 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Peggy Miner, along with many Aunts and Uncles. Per her request cremation will take place.
