OBITUARY FOR PATRICIA BERGMAN

Patricia Jane Bergman, 81 of Salem passed away on October 10, 2025, at Canton

Aultman Hospital. Patricia was born on November 24, 1943, in Alliance to the late

Dewey and Grace (Helman) McLaughlin.

Patricia worked in sales for Western Southern Insurance Company, a past member

of the Alliance City School Board, and a member of The Solid Rock Church of

Salem.

A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, a heavenly compassionate spirit.

Spending her whole life of one of serving others. Consistently putting the needs

of her children and the people around before herself.

Whether it would be a meal for a wounded soul, or possibly a dinner for a

congregation in a family loss. Patricia catered to each individual(s) need,

offering passion and undoubted perfection with the joy of the Lord in her heart.

Patricia enjoyed the outdoors, the sunshine summer weather. Myrtle Beach was her

happy place, where memories were made. Her sanctuary was at home, creating the

most beautiful, breathtaking landscapes, a God given gift.

She also had fondness for music, the older eras, especially the 70’s from Elton

John to Tom Jones and B.J. Thomas. Patricia was a sports enthusiast, always

sharing her thoughts.

Survivors include her husband John Bergman (30 years of marriage), three

children, Joseph Liebhart, Christopher (Lisa) Liebhart, Trisha (Akenra) X; eight

grandchildren, Rachel, Taylor, Gaige, Cydney, C.J., Hannah, Jr., Alexis. Eight

great grandchildren, Noah, Bayleigh, Emilia, Ryan, Mitchell, Avery, Mason, K.Y.

One brother, Bob McLaughlin.

Besides Patricia’s parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jameson

Grey Liebhart.

Services will be held Sunday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m.
