Noah Alex, age 20, of Canton, Ohio, sadly left us on July 10, 2024. Noah was born on September 25, 2003, in Canton, Ohio to Christopher Alex and Janine Smith. A graduate of West Branch High School.
As a young man with both passion and an intense sense of empathy, Noah suffered a great loss when his father passed away unexpectedly in 2021. Noah kept himself busy with work, spending time with friends and family but the trauma he suffered from that loss was too much to manage and he chose to end his life.
Noah shared the same passion of tinkering with his truck and miscellaneous cars with his dad. Any free moment he was under the hood of a vehicle. When he was not working on a vehicle, he was spending time with his friends and family. Noah made an impact on everyone he met. He had a kind and generous heart. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile that could brighten a room. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him most. Noah is survived by his mother Janine Smith; stepfather Dave (Ashley Chilton) Smith; siblings David “Zander” & EvelynSmith, Emmersin, Adalynn & Alivia Alex; his favorite Uncle Dustin (Melissa) Alex; grandparents and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He is preceded in death by his best friend and father Christopher Alex.
A celebration of life will be held at Almost Home Event Center in Sebring, Ohio from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday July 25, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Remember me
To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated,
But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea,
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity,
Remember me.
Remember me in your heart:
Your thoughts, and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
