Nancy L. Sell, born on August 14, 1944, in Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at Second Home Living. Nancy lived a full and vibrant life, dedicated to her family, who meant the world to her.
She was proud to be a great mother and grandmother, nurturing and shaping the lives of her children, Scott (Tonna) Fitzgerald, Melissa Spencer, and Randy (Vivian) Fitzgerald. Her grandchildren, Amanda, Rebecca, Dallas, Kelsea, and Nicole brought her immeasurable joy, and she cherished the moments spent with them. As a great-grandmother, she celebrated the lives of Holden Norah, Jaxson, and Hudson, continuing her legacy of love and support for the next generations.
Nancy's educational journey led her to the Hannah Mullins School of Nursing, where she developed her passion for caring for others—a trait that defined much of her personal and professional life. Her hobbies included sewing, crafting, scrapbooking, and travel, all of which brought her happiness and fulfillment.
She is survived by her devoted brother, Ernest Matthews, and her beloved dogs, Izzy and Molly, who were always by her side.
Nancy is preceded in death by her cherished children, Terry Fitzgerald and Frank Spencer, her brother, Frank Dickert, and her spouse, Donald W. Sell.
Her memory will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and kindness. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on September 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dean's Funeral Home located at 256 West Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672, with Pastor David Gallina officiating.
Nancy L. Sell will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home.
