Michael "Bubby" Eckert

Michael  L. Eckert , age 40 of Sebring  passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his home.  He was born in May 30, 1980 to Richard Eckert Jr. and Catherine (Carter) Eckert.  He was a 1998 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School.  He was formerly employed at MPI Labels in Sebring and Graco in North Canton.  Michael was an avid sports fan of the; Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago White Sox, Michigan Wolverines, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and NASCAR.  He also had a natural artistic ability. One of his favorite pastimes was playing his guitar. Michael had a magnetic, fun, outgoing personality that caused people to gravitate towards him. He was loved by many who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be immensely missed. He was preceded in death by his Father; Richard Eckert Jr. who passed in 2017. He is survived by his Mother;  Catherine and his Brother;  Richard (Ricky) Eckert along with Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Thank you to the Sebring Rescue Squad and the Fresenius Dialysis Staff in Salem for their excellent care of Michael.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday,  June 23, 2020 at Dean's Funeral Home at 630pm with Geter  Bailey officiating. Friends and family will be received prior to the service from 5 pm to 6:30 pm; at the Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests  memorial contributions be made in Michael's honor to Angels for Animals  4750 W South Range Rd. Canfield, Ohio 44406.  Online condolences can be shared at www.deansfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
