Michael Anthony West, age 62 passed away suddenly December 14, 2021 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. He was born July 6, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Julius (Jim) and Sandra (Thomas) Zaleski. He is survived by his loving wife; Dottie (Chapman) West whom he married August 25, 1984, daughters; Amy (Josh) Burchett, Andrea West, grandchildren; Luke, Russ, Ella- Grace, sister; Kimberly (Gerald) Ulrich, Rita (Keith) Wilson, Michele (Glenn) Ballentine, Marlene Rigdon, brothers; Mark Zaleski, Marty (Tracie) Zaleski, mother-in -law Dorothy Chapman, Sister-in-laws; Russella Anderson, Shelly Waback, Sheila (Samuel) Jackson, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; who was like a son; Jonathan Walter, his father-in-law; Russell Chapman; brother-in-laws; Ben Bodkins, and Ken Waback.

Michael was graduate of Alliance High School where he participated in track and later returned to assist with their track program. He was a member of the Tri-County Church of God in Salem and had a deep love for the Lord. He worked many side jobs including being a security guard, and pizza delivery driver to provide well for his family. He later retired from Republic Storage. He and his wife enjoyed daily lunches at Silver Park as that was their "special place" in which they were married. They also enjoyed vacations, sightseeing, and day trips to take in the beauty of God's scenery and creations. Mike was also a Star Trek and Marvel and DC comic fan. He lived life to the fullest and always enjoyed a good meal in his short time here on Earth and will be greatly missed by his family. He is now in the presence of the Lord. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.

Calling hours will take place Sunday December 19, 2021 from 5pm -7pm at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S. 12th Street Sebring. A funeral service will take place Monday at 11am with Phillip Knipp officiating, a time of visitation will take place one hour prior, from 10am-11am. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Friends and family may share their online condolences at www.deansfuneralhome.com.
