Mary Ann Johnson, born July 16, 1961, in Columbia, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on October 28, 2025, in Canton, Ohio. She will be brought home and laid to rest in her birthplace, Columbia, South Carolina.

Mary lived boldly, loved fiercely, and carried a fire in her spirit that made her unforgettable. She was passionate about what captured her heart, honest about what weighed on her mind, and she always found a loving way to make her truth known. Her strength, humor, and authenticity made her the kind of woman everyone remembered.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Susie May Jefferson, and her son, Jermaine Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her legacy her devoted son Tyson Johnson (Kashana); and her beloved grandchildren: Khamiya, Aniya, Summer, September, Karon, Aiasha, Tiara, Shasia, Tyisha, Jamar, Katrina, and Cieoni.

She is also survived by a loving host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who were deeply touched by her presence.
