Mary Ann
Cox
Jul 16, 1956 — Jul 4, 2026
Alliance
The world has become a little duller this month, because a beautiful ray of sunshine has left it.
Mary Ann Cox (Underwood) passed away on July 4th, 2026.
She was the light of David Clark's life and he was hers for the last 47 years. Riding on the back of his motorcycle brought her immeasurable joy. She was a lover of animals (especially dogs) loved dancing and was very into collecting all things Harry Potter.
She was mother to Gregory "Jason" Cox and Alex Clark. A big sister to William "Billy" Underwood and Virginia Crowe (Underwood). A Nana to Faith Marie Sadler and Nicole Rayann Cox. A loving aunt and cousin to many. A loved member of the Clark family whom she had been a part of for many years and she loved dearly. She was friend to countless people, and the life of the party wherever was lucky enough to be graced with her presence.
She could be seen roaming the aisles of Walmart, where she worked for many years, wearing holiday dress regardless of the holiday. I'm sure many who worked there could hear her coming around Christmas, wearing bells on her shoes and spreading cheer to anyone who she spoke to.
She loved having family over for game nights and making sure everyone was fed. She was always quick with the jokes to bring smiles to everyone around her. And if you ask anyone, they'll say that to know her is to love her.
She is preceded in death by her sister Billie Jo Underwood, her mother, Mary Catherine Underwood (Eddy) and her father Bill Ray Underwood.
A celebration of life will be held at Harvesting Hope 230 S 12th St, Sebring, OH 44672 July 17 from 6-8.
