Conneaut, OH

Louis J Filaccio Jr. passed away on November 19, 2023, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love,
dedication, and passion for life. Born on March 5, 1956, Lou brought joy and warmth to the lives of his
family and friends throughout his journey.

Lou prepared food professionally with love and satisfaction straight from the heart. His expertise in the
kitchen was admired by all who tasted his delicious creations.

Beyond his culinary talents, Lou nurtured a deep affinity for nature and the great outdoors. He found
solace in being surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant blooms. Known as a skilled gardener, he could
grow any plant with utmost care and precision. His garden was his sanctuary, where he found peace and
tranquility among the rustling leaves and blooming flowers.

Lou cherished spending time by the water - be it strolling along sandy beaches, scavenging for fossils,
and seeing the beauty in every day natural surroundings. He also loved to photograph nature and share
his work with his friends and family.

A proud graduate of Ursuline High School, he also attended Youngstown State University.
However, when reflecting on Lou's life, there is no doubt that his proudest accomplishments were his
children - Mason and Mia Filaccio. A devoted father, Lou poured all of his love into raising his children,
instilling in them values of kindness, hard work, and perseverance. Mason and Mia were truly his pride
and joy; they grew up under their father's loving guidance and continue to carry forth his legacy.
Lou shared a deep bond with his family and had a special place in his heart for his parents, the late Louis
J Filaccio Sr. and Dorothy (Bruno) Filaccio. Their love and support throughout his life were invaluable to
him. He was also blessed with the presence of two caring sisters, Jenamarie Filaccio and Carmalynn
(Joe) Caimona, whose unwavering support meant the world to him. He also leaves behind his former
wife, Gillian Filaccio.

Lou's journey through life took unexpected turns, and he faced each challenge with strength and
resilience. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and hilarious gift of humor is unsurpassed.
As we say goodbye to Lou, let us remember him for his unwavering love for his children, his passion for
plants and gardening, and his appreciation for the beauty of nature. May we find solace in knowing that
his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and in the blooming plants he cared for so deeply.

Louis J Filaccio Jr., you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. May your soul find eternal peace as
you reunite with your loved ones who have departed before you. Rest in peace, dear Lou.
