Linda S Carr

Linda S. Carr, born January 13, 1946, in Ravenna, Ohio, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Austintown, Ohio. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to her family and caring for loved ones. Growing up as one of 14 siblings, she learned the values of togetherness and support that shaped her life. A graduate of Waterloo High School, Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures—joining activities at her assisted living facility, playing bingo, making crafts, and especially birdwatching, with a special fondness for hummingbirds. She is survived by her son, Dustin (Jamie) Brooks; daughters, Andrea Carr and Angela (Mike) Binius; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of warmth and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel (Case) Carpenter, all 14 of her siblings, and her dear friend Donald R. Maxon. Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Dean’s Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio, with visitation at 12:00 PM and the funeral at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Kevin Stroup. Burial will follow at Atwater Cemetery on February 2, 2026. Linda will be remembered for her loving heart, dedication to family, and joyful spirit. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
