It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian L. Bondoni, who departed this life on November 21, 2025, at the venerable age of 95. Born on June 19, 1930, Lillian was a beacon of love, strength, and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A cherished member of the Sebring Friends Church, Lillian's life was anchored in her faith and community. She found beauty in simplicity, nurturing her passions for gardening, flowers, and the gentle song of birds, which often brought her solace and joy. Her love for family was a cornerstone of her existence, and the bonds she wove extended through generations, nurturing connections that will endure long after her passing.
Lillian was the beloved mother of Mike (Sue) Bondoni and Caroline (Jim) Smith, whose lives were enriched by her unwavering support and the lessons she imparted. She took immense delight in her role as grandmother to Becky (Zeke) Fernandez, Steven (Amber) Bondoni, Chadd (Jesse) Bondoni, Jessica (Jimmy) Dowdy, Douglas Pryor, Jason Smith, and Jennifer (Joe) Hoy. Lillian's affection also embraced her granddaughter-in-law, Diana Bondoni.
With great pride, Lillian welcomed into her heart an army of great-grandchildren: Kamryn, Kaitlyn, Reese, Dalton, Lauren, James, Trece, Pepper, Scarlett, Tripp, Azalea, Penelope, Malikye, Maddie, Lexi, Catie, Dominic, and Travis. Each child carried a fragment of her spirit, and her legacy will flourish in the stories they share and the values they uphold. Lilian was also blessed by Larry Miller and Marsha Fuson who shared a special bond with her and were very important people in her life.
Lillian's journey through life bore the marks of great joy and profound sorrow. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Louis Bondoni, and grieved the untimely loss of her grandson, Michael Bondoni. Lillian also mourned the passing of her siblings: Dottie, Jeanie, Eva, Enuice, and Junior, as well as her loving parents, Ralph Erb and Ois Green. These losses shaped her resilient spirit, yet she remained a steadfast source of strength for her family.
A heartfelt expression of gratitude is extended to Auburn Skilled Rehab Center and its dedicated staff, whose care and compassion provided Lillian with comfort in her later years. Also, to Pastor Quint Bryan and Lynn Moore for officiating her services and being of great support to her family.
As we honor the remarkable life of Lillian L. Bondoni, we invite all who loved her to gather for a visitation on November 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sebring Friends Church, located at 615 S Johnson Rd, Sebring, OH 44672. A funeral service will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, paying tribute to a life well-lived. Lillian will be laid to rest following a graveside memorial service at Highland Memorial Park on December 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Lillian’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those she cherished, her laughter echoed in the gardens she loved, and her vibrant energy interwoven with the lives of her family, who carry her memory forward with grace and love.
