In loving memory of Larry Drew Sams. Larry Sams was born March 6, 1951, in Alliance. He was the son of Harry R. and Naomi A. Sams. He died March 3, 2024, a victim of Parkinson's Disease. Larry grew up in the Beloit area, attended West Branch Schools, graduating in 1969.He also attended Penn-Ohio Jr. College. As a boy, he enjoyed repairing bicycles for neighborhood children. He advanced to repairing lawnmowers. He then spent his working years repairing vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, his sister; Janet who was his lifelong best friend, and many family members.
