Kimberly Ann (Kubenik) Gang passed away on July 19, 2019 at her residence in Alliance, Ohio. Ms. Gang fought an aggressive form of cancer resulting in her death. Kimberly was surrounded by her dear friends and family. She was born on November 24, 1962 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Rosella (Booth) Kubenik.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank Kubenik and Rosella (Booth) Kubenik, eldest daughter Heather Marie Gang, nephew Christopher Wheeler, and her beloved friends Ronald Worley Sr. and Tammy Manion.
Kimberly is survived by her long term fiance (of 29 years) Leonard E. Phelps, daughters Felicia A. Gang and Angela (Eric) Phelps, grandchildren Jeffery E. Sloat and Allen Joseph Sloat. Kimberly is also survived by her sister(s) Jacqueline "Tootie" (Kubenik) Wheeler and Debbie (Green) Fry of Rainbow City, Alabama, brother-in-law Raymond Wheeler, nephew Richard Wheeler. Lastly, Ms. Gang is survived by other relatives including cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kimberly attended Marlington City Schools and work in food/retail industry during her younger years. Ms. Gang also volunteered for classrooms at North Lincoln Elementary School while her daughters were attending academia, and as a bus driver for the Salvation Army. Kimberly loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music, scrap booking, watching her children and their friends at the skate park. As an adolescent, Kimberly played backyard football with her neighborhood friends and got into other "shenanigans." Kim is known for her generous and nurturing spirit by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is loved by so many people and will be missed immensely.
Per Ms. Gang's wishes, there will be no funeral services held.
