Karen Lynn Smith of Alliance was born on Dec. 27th, 1957, in Winter Haven, Florida, to Kenneth W. Romigh Jr. and Dorothy J. Romigh (Ulrich) of Paris, Ohio. She had three brothers, Keith L. (Carol) Romigh, Kimberly L. (Kim) Romigh, Daniel J. (Sara) Romigh, and a sister, Denise J. (Steve) Mayes. She was married to Herbert W. Smith (for a short time). They met in high school and have been a pain in each other's sides since. They have 2 children, William H. Smith and Ann D Smith. Karen has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

Karen worked at many places in the Community, including Marc's, The China House, and Jim's. Karen had a laugh that could brighten anyone's day. She loved to go Camping & Hiking. The outdoors was her favorite place to be. Karen loved to decorate for the holidays, and she always made sure her camper, or house was decorated to perfection.

On Sep 24th, 2025, Karen returned home to be with her parents, Ken and Dorothy, and her brother Kim. Karen will be missed by so many. We will be having a calling hour on Monday, the 6th, from 1 pm-3 pm with services at 3pm at Dean's Funeral Home, 256 West. Ohio Avenue Sebring OH, 44672
