Judith "Judy" K Hubbs

June 10, 1945 — June 30, 2025

Sebring

Judith "Judy" K Hubbs, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home in Sebring on June 30, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on June 10, 1945, Judy was a lifelong resident of Sebring, where she dedicated her life not only to her family but also to her community.

Judy was a graduate of Sebring High School. She retired as a Custodial Engineer for the City of Sebring, where her diligence and attention to detail were appreciated by all who knew her. However, her legacy extends far beyond her professional life. Judy was an extraordinary individual whose heart overflowed with warmth and kindness. As the Auxiliary Secretary for the Sebring American Legion, she dedicated countless hours volunteering at the Legion and St. Ann's, often making pierogies alongside friends to bring a taste of joy to her community.

Judy's spirit shone bright in all her endeavors. She was very giving, always ready to lend a hand or provide support to those in need, embodying the essence of community service. She recently enjoyed a memorable surprise 80th birthday party, where the love of her family and friends enveloped her, leaving her with many cherished memories.

Judy found immense joy in the simple pleasures in life, whether it was camping under starlit skies, the thrill of bingo nights, or the excitement of visiting casinos. Her lively personality brought laughter and joy to all who surrounded her, and her family recalls her proudest accomplishment: the love she poured into her family, which was evident in the many pictures displayed throughout her home. Despite her love for capturing memories, Judy oddly shied away from the camera, opting instead to focus on creating beautiful moments.

She is survived by her loving sons, Ronald (Terri) and James (Theresa), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jacob (Chasity) Hubbs, Zach Hubbs, Kayla Hubbs, Jacob (Jill fiancée'), and Zach Rumberger. Judy also treasured her six great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy and light to her life. She is further survived by her brothers, Larry and Ralph, and her sister, Karen. Judy shared a special bond with her many friends, creating an extended family that will miss her dearly.

Judy was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ron Hubbs Sr., her brother, Gary Lynn, and her sister, Diane. The family takes solace knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.

Her memory will continue to echo in the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing her. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Judy's life during visitation on July 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Harvesting Hope in Your Community, located at 230 S 12th St, Sebring, OH 44672. Judy will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Beloit following the service. Friends and family will gather after the service at Harvesting Hope in Your Community to honor and celebrate Judy's life.

In honoring her generous spirit, let us carry forward her legacy of kindness and love, get out in your community and make a difference. We will forever be remembering the light she brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers: donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and or Akron Children's Hospital per her request. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home.
