Joseph Dale Farnsworth was born on February 14th, 1957 in St. Marys, West Virginia to the late E. Dale and JoAnn (Paynter) Farnsworth. Joe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 2nd at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

Retired from many years as a diesel mechanic and semi truck driver, Joe was an avid fisherman and liked being outdoors, tossing horseshoes or cornhole bags, and sitting on a porch with his pipe. He had a passion for singing karaoke and enjoyed sharing his talent with friends each week. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Joe loved watching Browns, Buckeyes, Guardians, or Cavs games with his mom by his side.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Allyson Farnsworth, his father and best friend, Dale, and his cherished siblings Debbie Farnsworth, Alan Farnsworth, and Tina Bozman.

His survivors include his mother, JoAnn, his children Shannon (Joe) Blackmer and Joe (Jody) Farnsworth whom he shared with Linda Farnsworth Tusin, his children Jared, Justin, and Jessica Farnsworth whom he shared with Judi Farnsworth, siblings Tracy (Lou) Buch and Jeffrey (Sue) Farnsworth, grandchildren Lacey, Aiden, Conner, Olivia, Audrey, and Elaina, great-grandson Anthony, five nieces, and three nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 7th, from 12 to 1pm, Funeral service will take place at 1pm. at Harvesting Hope in Your Community, 230 S 12th Street, Sebring. Instead of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Dean's Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Arrangements are being handled by Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio.
