Joseph S. Dugan age 64 passed away Friday October 23, 2020 at Oakhill Manor in Louisville after a lengthy illness. He was born September 29, 1956 to the late Eugene and Eileen Dugan. In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by a Brother; Gerald Dugan, Step-father; Frank Caruso, Nephews; Jacob, Charles (Chucky) and several Aunts and Uncles, Brother-in laws; Fred Hamby, Don Hoy, Grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Alton Dugan, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Frank. Joe was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Grade School, Alliance High School, and The University of Mount Union . He played baseball and football at The University of Mount Union and was a student teacher at West Branch . He also was an assistant coach for Mount Union Football. He played baseball at the AAA level for a team in Georgia. He lived in Georgia for 34 years and moved back to the Alliance 3.5 years ago. He will be remembered as being a good Brother, Uncle, and a wonderful man. He worked in construction and loved to hunt and fish in his free time. He is survived by his loving family including; Jim (Vicky) Dugan, Mike Dugan, Frances (Dugan) Hamby, Patrick Dugan, Cathy (Dugan) (Calvin) Smith , Mary (Dugan) Hoy, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, Great- Nieces, and Great Nephews. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 7 pm at Dean’s Funeral Home, 256 W. Ohio Avenue Sebring with Very Rev. Canon Matthew J. Mankowski, of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, as celebrant. Visitation viewing will take place from 5 -7 pm. Family is requesting masks to be worn .
