John "Ringo" Thomas Mount

John Thomas Mount, born on May 7, 1955, passed away peacefully at his home on January 19, 2026.

Throughout his life, John dedicated himself to his work as a self-employed handyman, well-known for his skills and unwavering work ethic. His talent in fixing things extended beyond mere repairs; he had an exceptional knack for bringing a sense of comfort and security to any space he touched.

In addition to his professional endeavors, John had a wide array of hobbies and interests that reflected his zest for life. He found great joy in fishing, often spending tranquil days by the water. Hunting was another passion that he pursued with enthusiasm, creating many cherished memories in the great outdoors. John's love for adventure was further exemplified by his joy in riding motorcycles, which gave him a sense of freedom and exhilaration. He also enjoyed playing golf.

John is survived by his family  , which includes his sister, Linda Toussant, and his brother, Ken Mount, his nephews, Adam Toussant, Tyler (Amanda) Toussant, and Ben (Krista) Mount, as well as his nieces, Rebekah (Christopher) Crowell and Tamara (Daniel) Gerts. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jean Mount, who undoubtedly laid the foundation for the kind, hardworking man he became.

John's memory will live on with his numerous extended friends and family from Maximo and Rey's Bar and Grill, where he gathered joy and companionship over shared meals and laughter.

His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio.
