Joan Culp

SEBRING--Joan L. Culp, 84, of Sebring, Ohio, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 1, 2020. She was born on November 19, 1935, in Northampton Township, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Geraldine (Lance) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, first husband Bernard, and two brothers, Dwayne (infant) & Raymond L Anderson.

Joan is survived by her sister, Alice (Alliance), daughter Pamela (William) of Punta Gorda, FL, son Kevin (Coventry Township, OH), Grandson Christopher (Brandie), and  two Great-Grandchildren, Hudson and Ava, all of  North Port, FL.

Joan was a 1953 graduate of Atwater High School, very active in cheerleading, voted the Junior-Senior Prom Queen and performed in the high school’s production of Hillbilly Weddin. An accomplished roller skater, league bowler, gardener, seamstress, and a passionate collector of owls, Joan enjoyed attending the monthly cousins’ luncheons, summer family reunions and, spending time with her husband and beloved pets.

Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service and interment will be at the Atwater Cemetery, Atwater, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to Angels for Animals, 4750 West South Range RD, Canfield, OH 44422.
