Jason Michael
Mulinix
March 1, 1972 – May 18, 2026
Jason Michael Mulinix, born on March 1, 1972, in Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. A cherished member of his community and a devoted family man, Jason lived a life rich in passions and dedication.
A 1990 graduate of WB High School, Jason’s love for learning extended far beyond the classroom. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life: reading, golfing, and the excitement of horse racing. His enthusiasm for antiquing revealed a deep appreciation for history and beauty, while his avid support for Cleveland sports teams reflected a spirited loyalty that endeared him to friends and fellow fans alike.
Jason’s journey was marked by strength and grace, qualities that shone brightly even during his illness. The compassionate care provided by the Southern Care Hospice Nurses and their staff helped to ease the difficulties he faced. Nurse Chris’s unwavering presence, especially staying beyond his scheduled shift, underscored the profound respect and care Jason inspired in those around him.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Lester and Pamela Mulinix, who provided steadfast love and support. By his side was his sister, Lisa (Vaughn) Ash, whose bond with Jason remained unbreakable. He also cherished his relationships with his nieces and nephews—Anthony, Nick, Ben, and Kierstyn—who brought immense joy to his life. A special mention is deserved for his Uncle Chuck, whose frequent visits lifted Jason’s spirits and exemplified true family devotion.
Jason was preceded in death by grandparents Charlotte and Russell Wyss, as well as Lester and Donna Mulinix, who helped shape the family foundation from which he drew strength. He was also predeceased by his Uncle Gary Mulinix, aunts Barb Williams, Paula Miller, and Barbara Wyss, and uncles Kenny Miller and Ron Raga, each contributing to the rich tapestry of his heritage.
Jason Michael Mulinix’s legacy is one of perseverance, kindness, and a vibrant love for life’s pursuits. He leaves behind a family and community who will remember him with profound respect and enduring affection. As we honor his memory, we are reminded of the light he brought into our lives and the lasting imprint of his spirit. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
