Howard Heckman

Howard E. Heckman, 83 of Beloit peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones Wednesday, April 16th. He was born in Washington Township, PA on 8-21-30 to Chalmar and Florence(Zimmerman Heckman. He leaves his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy (Schalles) and his large extended family. He retired from NRM in Columbiana as a maintence supervisor. He belonged to the American Legion McKinley Post #76 in Sebring and Forty and Eight. He was a Navy Verern. He was a member of St. Paul's Luthern Church. He is survived by children: Cindy McNemar, Karen (James) Rice, Patricia Heckman, Joyce (Ronald) Flenniken, Rebecca (Paul) Brown, Robert McNemar Jr; Sherie Smith, Daniel (Jennifer) McNemar, 16 grand children and 22 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. He also leaves behind his two brothers Rodney (Carol) Heckman and Larry (Elaine) Heckman and a dear friend Joe Rockwell, a fellow Vetern and preceded in death by his sister Esther and brother in law Eugene Keibler. A Private memorial for family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Alliance Hospice or Sebring American Legion.
