Harold R. Kelley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and Uncle... and cherished member of the Alliance and Sebring communities,  passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at Woodlawn Compassionate Care in Canton, Ohio. Born on July 21, 1941, in Sebring, Ohio, Harold’s life was marked by unwavering dedication, boundless curiosity, and an extraordinary ability to bring things—and people—together.

As the Head of the Drafting Department at Alliance Machine before his retirement, Harold was respected not only for his technical skill but also for the leadership and care he showed to colleagues. His career was a testament to discipline and craftsmanship, qualities that extended far beyond the workplace.

Harold was the kind of man who could fix anything. From the smallest household gadget to more complex mechanical repairs, his hands never rested, always tinkering with a quiet passion that inspired those around him. His love for ham radio, working on clocks, and restoring cars was more than just a hobby—it was a lifelong journey of learning and creativity. Through these pursuits, Harold taught family and friends the importance of patience, precision, and the joy of discovery.

For 63 years, his wife Patricia Kelley stood steadfast by his side, their partnership a beautiful chapter of devotion and shared memories. It is said that love endures beyond life, and Harold will always reside in Patricia’s heart, a presence felt in every tender moment they cherished together.

Harold’s warmth extended to his Brother Ray Kelley (Vicki Kelley and family), his daughter Brenda ,  and Son's Bob (Libby Kelley) and Grant (Jeni Kelley) and Brian Bloor.

His legacy shines brightly through his grandchildren—Katie, Alex, Jacob, and Amanda —each of whom carries a piece of his spirit, wisdom, and kindness. His great-grandchildren Evie, Lyla,   Hallie, and Addeline,  were a constant source of joy, the promise of new beginnings nurtured by Harold’s gentle soul.

Though Harold is reunited with his beloved sons Robert and Grant Kelley, and his sister Rosemary, and his Parents Harold and Lucile Kelley, whose memories are held close, his presence continues to envelop his many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Each one carries echoes of his humor, his steadfastness, and a lifetime of stories about a man who gave generously of himself.

Harold R. Kelley’s life was a tapestry woven with dedication, love, and an unending curiosity for the world around him. He leaves behind a legacy not only in the projects he completed or the machines he restored but in the hearts he touched and the family that will forever remember his gentle strength. In the silent moments, as clocks tick and radios hum, those who loved him will find comfort, knowing that Harold’s spirit endures—steady, precise, and deeply cherished. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
