With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Harland James Edwards, who left us too soon on May 5th, 2025, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, cradled in the loving embrace of his devoted mother, Nichole Muhammad. Born on January 30, 2025, in Akron, Ohio, he graced the world with his presence at 10:41 a.m., weighing just 4 lbs 7 oz. In his short time with us, Baby Harland brought immense love and light to everyone he encountered.

During his three precious months, he captured the hearts of family, friends, and even strangers, who found themselves enchanted by his spirited nature. From the sassy little eye-rolls directed at his nurses to his endearing giggles after moments of drama—especially during diaper changes—Baby Harland was truly one of a kind. His playful personality and charming quirks made every day brighter for those who loved him.

Harland is survived by his mother; Nichole and father ; Henry Burrage, adoring siblings: Aiya, Zoey, Adin Muhammad, and Kamen Edwards, all from Sebring, as well as his cherished niece, Moonie May-Lynn Elaine Muhammad. He was deeply adored by his grandparents, Ronald Spears and Chalonda Stewart, as well as his special grandma, Ms. Melissa Phillips. His family from Cleveland and Alliance surrounded him with love throughout his life.

Though he was welcomed into the arms of angels, he joins his sister Ava Lyn Muhammad, his me-ma, Tracy Edwards, Grandpa Henry Pruitt, and great-grandparents Charles and Jane Edwards, Johnnie Mae Burrage, and Charles Jones in eternal peace.

Baby Harland will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, and his momma will always remain his #1 fan. Rest easy, sweet boy; you have made an everlasting impact on our lives. A Celebration of Life will take place Sunday May 18th, 2025, from 1-4pm at Dean's Funeral Home, 256 W Ohio Avenue Sebring, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
