IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory Dean
Kelley
April 26, 1969 – January 8, 2026
Gregory Dean Kelley was called home on Thursday, January 8, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 26, 1969, Greg lived a life full of love, laughter, and a personal soundtrack that never once matched the original lyrics. If there was music playing, Greg was performing. He had a gift for making up his own words to every song, usually turning something serious into something hilarious. Goofy in the best way, we will forever miss his silliness, his humor, and the joy he brought into every room. Fun loving and a natural prankster, Greg carried a positive attitude even in the hardest seasons of life. Quiet but mighty in spirit, he was loyal and loving force who always showed up for the people he cared about. He also had a soft spot for animals, especially the cats he cared for. It was just one more way he showed his big heart. He loved the simple things that made life sweet. Hunting and fishing. Good old country music turned up a little too loud. A cold beer shared with friends and moments that never needed much more than good company. Above all else, Greg was most proud of his family. His heart belonged to his daughters, Brooke, who is dearly missed, and Megan, who was his greatest joy. Becoming a grandfather only made that love grow deeper. Reese, age 4, and Liam, age 1, were the light of his life and the reason behind so many of his biggest smiles. He also shared a deep bond with his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews cherishing the laughter and memories they built together. Greg was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Brooke, his mother Phyllis, his father Vernon, his sister Vickie, and his brother Scott. Though his song here has ended, the soundtrack of Greg’s love will keep playing in the hearts of everyone who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at Harvesting Hope In Your Community, 230 S 12th Street Sebring, on Friday, February 6 from 5pm -6pm. Service to follow at 6pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
