Gerald A Kuntzman, born on November 21, 1953, departed this life on July 20, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. On that day, Gerald went home to be with his Heavenly Father, leaving behind a legacy built on faith, love, and unwavering devotion to family.

Gerald’s life was defined by his resilience and his gentle spirit. He faced adversity with remarkable strength, and his presence was a source of comfort and encouragement for all who knew him. His journey through illness was no exception; he met each obstacle with grace, embodying courage while holding fast to hope and faith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Kuntzman, who stood steadfast by his side through every season. Gerald was a devoted father to his daughter, Jennifer (Bill Strong) Smith, and son, Jerry (Shawnna) Kuntzman, cherishing the special bonds they shared. His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren: Alyssa Smith, Amanda Strong, and Matthew Hill, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Gerald also leaves behind his brothers, Bruce Kuntzman and Robert Kuntzman Jr., sisters, Tina Barker  and Pam Foley, and sisters-in-law, Suzetta Cobb and Carrie Huff. His circle of family extends to numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom benefited from his kindness and wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Robert and Vida Kuntzman, and brothers, Chuck Kuntzman, David Kuntzman, and a sister Dorothy (Kuntzman) Flores.  Gerald also mourned the passing of his grandmother, Eva, his uncle, Roy, his brother-in-law, Bruce Huff, and his son-in-law, Matthew Smith. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Gerald spent 30 years as a semi-truck driver. He enjoyed spending his retirement making memories with his family and often times could be found listening to Joe Cocker or watching the Cleveland Guardians. Gerald’s presence touched so many; his kindness, dedication, and faith provided a steady beacon of hope. In his journey on earth, he quietly shaped the lives of those around him for the better. Though words cannot encapsulate the depth of his legacy, his memory will remain a guiding force for all those privileged to have known him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were brightened by his gentle warmth. As we say farewell to Gerald, we honor a life that exemplified love, strength, and faith. May he rest in eternal peace.
